One local crew for your whole property — lawn to hardscape to snow
Greener Grass Landscaping Inc. is a Massachusetts-based, owner-operated outdoor property company working across Central Massachusetts, MetroWest, the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire. Four pillars — landscaping, hardscape, tree service and snow management — for residential and commercial clients, with free estimates on all of it.

Our story
About the owners
The founder of Greener Grass Landscaping Inc. began his journey in 2005. He started small, mowing and maintaining residential lawns across Central Massachusetts, learning every property one season at a time. Year after year, the work grew — and so did what he could offer, expanding from lawn care into hardscape, tree service and snow management until the company could take care of a property from the ground up, in every season.
As the business grew, he brought his sons into the work beside him. He didn't just hand them jobs — he taught them the trade the way he'd learned it, in the field, with his own hands. Everything they know about this business, from reading a piece of ground to building a wall that lasts, came from him. He passed down not only the skills but the standards: do the whole job right, and treat every property like it's your own.
Today, Greener Grass is owned and run by father and sons together. The father remains the foundation the company is built on, and his sons carry the work forward the way he taught them — the same care, the same standards, on every property they touch.
That's why the four pillars — landscaping, hardscape, tree service and snow management — sit on the logo together. A property doesn't work in separate pieces. The lawn, the beds, the patio, the wall, the maple over the driveway and the ice at the bottom of it are all the same piece of ground, and they're all easier to get right when one company is responsible for the whole thing. A patio gets built by the same people who know where the water runs, because they've been mowing that lawn since April. A tree comes down over a lawn that gets protected during the work and repaired after. A driveway gets plowed by someone who knows exactly where the wall caps and bed edges are under the snow.
We work across Central Massachusetts, MetroWest, the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire — the Leominster and Fitchburg area, Worcester, the MetroWest towns along Route 9 and I-495, the Merrimack Valley, the Boston suburbs, and over the line into Nashua, Manchester and Derry. Residential and commercial, all four seasons, with a free written estimate before anything starts.

What we stand on
Quality materials · Professional work · Reliable service
Quality materials
Base stone, block, pavers, timber and plant material chosen for a New England climate rather than for the lowest line on an estimate.
Professional work
Correct depths, correct cuts, correct drainage. The parts of a job that are invisible on day one are the parts that decide how it looks in year five.
Residential & commercial
Single-family homes, condominium common areas, office park grounds and commercial lots — the same standard on all of them.
Reliable, year-round
Spring cleanup through the last plow of the winter. One company that knows the property in every season it has.
A year on a Greener Grass property
Four seasons, one schedule
New England gives a property four completely different sets of problems. Here is roughly how the year runs.
Spring
Cleanups first — winter debris off the beds, sand and salt cleared, edges recut. Then mulch, plantings and the first cuts of the season as the ground firms up.
Summer
The mowing route runs weekly. Beds get weeded and cultivated, hedges trimmed on the right cycle for the plant, and hardscape builds go in while the ground is dry and workable.
Fall
Leaf cleanup in multiple passes as the canopy drops, perennials cut back, and fall planting while the soil is still warm. Snow contracts get walked and staked.
Winter
Plowing, shoveling and salting on the seasonal routes, plus dormant-season pruning — when a deciduous tree's structure is visible and the ground is firm.
What we do

Snow Management
Seasonal plowing, shoveling and salting contracts for driveways and commercial lots.
Frequently asked
What areas do you serve?
Greener Grass Landscaping works across Central Massachusetts, MetroWest, the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire. That includes the Leominster–Fitchburg area and Worcester, the MetroWest towns along Route 9 and I-495 such as Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Framingham and Natick, the Merrimack Valley through Chelmsford and Lowell, the Boston suburbs including Lexington and Newton, and Nashua, Manchester and Derry in southern New Hampshire.
Do you work on both residential and commercial properties?
Yes — residential and commercial, which is what the logo has said since day one. That ranges from a single-family lawn and patio to condominium common areas, office park grounds and commercial parking lots on a seasonal snow contract.
What services do you offer?
Four pillars: landscaping (lawn and garden maintenance, landscape design and improvements, planting, mulch and leaf cleanup), hardscape (paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, and stone and wood structures), tree service (pruning, removals and storm work), and snow management (plowing, shoveling and salting).
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Estimates are free. Call or text 978-760-8591, or send the free-estimate form and we will get back to you to arrange a look at the property.
Do you handle snow removal in the winter?
Yes — residential and commercial snow and ice management, including driveways, walkways, entries, parking lots and access drives. Snow work runs on seasonal contracts and routes fill up in the fall, so the time to reserve is before the first storm rather than during it.
Do you do tree removal as well as pruning?
Both. Crown cleaning, deadwood removal, canopy raising over roofs and driveways, thinning, and full removals — including tight takedowns that have to be climbed and rigged down in pieces rather than felled. Cleanup is part of the job.
How do I get a quote?
Call or text 978-760-8591, or fill in the free-estimate form on the contact page. Tell us the town, the property type and what you are looking at, and we will take it from there.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the work and the season. Spring cleanups and mulch fill the four weeks after the last hard frost, hardscape projects are scheduled as build slots, and snow contracts are set in the fall. The earlier you get on the schedule for seasonal work, the more say you have in the timing.
